is completed by a Qualified Mental Health Professional. This process assists the consumer and program staff in determining
program eligibility as well as the amounts and types of services needed. | | | |
| | Community Support | Our Case Managers (CM) work one
on one with the consumer to address the consumer's individualized treatment goals. Community support is provided by the CM
within the consumer's own community. The CM's primary role is linking the consumer with various resources in the community
and supporting their involvement. This may include (but is not limited to) linking to: employment services, housing assistance,
medical providers, counseling services, probation/parole services, substance abuse rehabilitation services, legal services,
parenting resources. CM's also assist with skill development, including (but not limited to): coping skills, independent living
skills, budgeting skills, prevocational skills, and social skills. | | | |
| | Psychosocial Rehabilitation (HANNIBAL) | Psychosocial Rehabilitation
(PSR) is a day program available to all of our consumers. PSR in Hannibal operates Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:30pm and
Fridays from 9:30am-noon. The program includes educational groups on an array of topics including (but not limited to): Psycho-education,
coping skills, anger management, medication education, health, nutrition, self-esteem, employment, and budgeting. The program
also offers activities on and off-site. Activities vary, but many enjoy bowling, barbecues, and accessing the library and
local YMCA. This is just a brief overview of what PSR has to offer. | | ~Enhanced PSR Services~ | Enhanced PSR services are available at our Hannibal office only, and include: |
| | MSW Groups are small groups led my an MSW on topics related to illness
management and recovery including diagnoses, medication, coping skills, and symptom management.

| | Psychosocial Rehabilitation (FULTON) PSR in Fulton meets three days a week: Monday and Wednesday from 9:30am to 11:30am and Friday from 1:30pm to
3:30pm. The program includes educational groups on an array of topics including (but not limited to): Psycho-education, coping
skills, anger management, medication education, health, nutrition, self-esteem, employment, and budgeting. The program also
offers activities on and off-site. | | Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) | CHS has added Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment
(IDDT) to its service offerings in HANNIBAL. This is a program that assists identified consumers in addressing both their
mental illness and substance abuse issues in one treatment setting. In addition to receiving the core services of the CPRC
program, the consumer is invited to partake in the IDDT program. Staff work as an interdisciplinary team to provide services
to address both the mental illness and substance abuse issues. Staff certified by the state of Missouri provide substance
abuse treatment in both an individual and group setting, and all staff support the mutual goals of improving the consumer’s
life. In addition, educational services and support is provided to the family members and significant others of those in the
IDDT program. |
| | Crisis Service | 24-hour Crisis Intervetion
services are available to consumers of Comprehensive Health Systems, Inc. ONLY. Qualified staff are available after office
hours and on weekends to assist with psychiatric emergencies. |
