Program Eligibility
*CHS services are provided through a contract with the Missouri Department of Mental Health and are reimbursed by Medicaid. The consumer must have Medicaid coverage or the ability to pay for services.
The criteria for admission to adult CPR services include:

The criteria for admission to adult CPR services include:
- A. Disability: There should be clear evidence of disability in that there is serious and/or substantial impairment in the ability to function at an age or developmentally appropriate level due to serious psychiatric disorder in each of the following two (2) areas of behavioral functioning:
- Social role functioning-- the ability to maintain functioning in the role of student, worker, homemaker, family member, or a combination of these; and
- Daily living skills/self-care skills--the ability to engage in personal care (such as personal hygiene, grooming), and community living (handling individual finances, using community resources, performing household chores), learning ability/self-direction, and activities appropriate to the individual's age, developmental level, and social role functioning.
- B. Diagnosis: A physician or licensed psychologist shall certify a primary DSM-IV-TR diagnosis of any one or combination of the following:
- Schizophrenia (Disorganized, Catatonic, Paranoid, Schizophreniform, Residual, or Schizoaffective, or Undifferentiated Type).
- Delusional Disorder
- Bipolar I Disorders (Single Manic Episode, Most Recent Episode Manic, Most Recent Episode Depressed, or Most Recent Episode Mixed)
- Bipolar II Disorders
- Psychotic Disorder NOS
- Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Anxiety Disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder without Agoraphobia, Social Phobia)
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- For adults aged sixty (60) and over-- Major Depressive Disorder, Single Episode
